The links between memory and recording are the common thread running through a body of research in which the image, in its many forms, becomes both a trace and a question. In an age of digital reminiscence, this exploration questions the way in which images, objects and stories shape our perception of the past, nourish nostalgia and influence the construction of personal and collective memories. By experimenting with different media, each project invites us to probe the fragility of these traces, oscillating between document and fiction, the intimate and the universal.

Emika Lannelongue, currently based in Paris, graduated with honors from the École nationale supérieure d'art de la Villa Arson in 2022. During her training, she also benefited from an exchange at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst, Leipzig, where she integrated the workshop on photography in the field of contemporary art.
